The Illinois Horse Rescue of Will County was founded to provide shelter and care for mistreated or abandoned horses and other animals. We provide shelter, food, and veterinary services for these animals until a suitable home can be found. As secondary services, we provide educational and therapeutic programs to local schools and charities with and about these animals.

This poor girl was wondering loose in the streets looking for food and water. We got the call for help and sprung into action. Now she's safely at our facility trying to recover from severe malnutrition. Fantastic is her name, and she needs your help to become truly fantastic again. Can you imagine having someone you've depended on load you into a trailer and dump you off on a hot asphalt road in 95 degree weather? That is what happened to Ashland. She was left for dead on Ashland Avenue without a second glance.

Henry's just a baby, 6 months old.
He's a sweet long-haired guineau pig that needs a home. He's nervous being around all the other animals, so we'd love to see him adopted soon. Please help Henry or one of our other furry friends.
