This is Samson checking in for Straight from the Rescues’ Mouths. Let me tell ya, this month galloped by faster than a jackrabbit on the run! We’ve got plenty to whinny about, so listen up, folks.
First off, my pals and I have met so many new people this month. We absolutely love it when folks come for tours of our wonderful rescue home. My human buddies have been doing a great job showing everyone around and teaching them all about what we do here.
Now, for some exciting news! Our lovely donkey friends, Maryann and Ginger, have completed all their medical check-ups, and guess what? They’re ready to find a new forever home—together! Next up, we’ve got a little story from the barn. A feral mama cat named Lioness joined us, and just two days later, she had a tiny kitten, Dobby Lee. Mama and baby are both doing great! My human pals are trying to convince Lioness that people are friendly, but I think she’d rather be hanging out with us in the barn. As for little Dobby Lee, once he’s fully vetted, he’ll be looking for a cozy house home to call his own.
Before I go, I have to mention that our rescue is in need of grain for the us this month. The price of a bag of feed has gone up to $27, and we could sure use some help covering the cost. If you’re able to donate, it would make a big difference for all my four-legged friends here.
