Become a Volunteer
Volunteering is a wonderful way to help a worthy cause.
Illinois Horse Rescue greatly depends on the generosity of its volunteers to help out with the daily care of the rescue animals, chores of the barn and general maintenance. It is through the help of our volunteers that we are able to maintain the highest level of quality care to all of our rescue animals. Not only will you learn about all the rescue animals, but you will also feel a great sense of satisfaction from knowing that YOU helped make a difference in an animal’s life.
All volunteers are welcome to help with our rescue animals, no matter what their experience level. However, certain tasks require a level of comfort with some animals that usually comes with experience.
First print out the Volunteer Application/ Waiver, fill them out in their entirety and then call our office to set up a meet & greet for the Volunteer Program.
Call to get started.
